Offline Wikipedia reader for iPhone/Touch released

February 8th, 2008 | by Justin Nolan |

You can now carry the entire Wikipedia on your iPhone or iPod touch, sans wifi/internet. The catch? It will hog 2GB of storage on your device. Not to mention it won’t always be up to date (current English dump is dated October 07). But then again, those old school encyclopedia sets we use to use were outdated by the time they reached bookshelves, too. The app is complete with search, autocomplete, inter-article linking, and more…but not without some bugs. Download and more info available at the developers site, or the Google Code page.
