Dev-team releases 1.1.3 Jailbreak GUI on Installer
January 29th, 2008 | by Justin Nolan |
The dev-team has released yet another 1.1.3 Jailbreak, this time in the form of a GUI app you can install on your 1.1.2 iPhone/Touch directly from Installer. It runs as a native app so it should provide a much nicer user experience. As you can see from the screens above, I’m already running 1.1.3 and it wouldn’t let me proceed any further to provide you more screenshot goodness
You can find it in Installer, named “Official 1.1.3 Upgrader” on the Community Sources.

The Jailbreak is nice, but not without issue. I cant seem to play ANY music, drm or not on my ipod now. Back to the manual 1.1.3

I installed this on my jailbroken 1.1.2 and when its done upgrading and I connect to iTunes, it says there is a problem with my iPhone and I need to take it to an Apple Store. No sure what the issue is. Anyone? Guess its back to 1.1.2 for now…

To be able to make calls, you have to do the unlock to the 1.1.2 and then upgrade to 1.1.3
http://www.hackthatphone.com has lists all the steps necessary to jailbreak and unlock 1.1.2 before going to 1.1.3

tim try the restore

Restore wouldn’t work, that would just install the default 1.1.3 program, which would require you to start the process from the beginning.
Does anyone know a REAL answer to the problem?
